Personal
I am married to my high school love interest, Keri. Along with our two wonderful kids, we live in North Texas. I spend my free time supporting my local church, as a youth leader and member of our media team. I also work with the Ft. Worth Air Power Council and the 501st Legion to raise money for military and childrens charities.
Professional
Over the past 30 years in IT, I have moved from web design, to programming, web hosting, enterprise architecture and virtualization. I have participated in planning and executing several data center moves, and led the evangelism efforts to promote virtualization within a large Fortune 300 organization. I am now a Consulting Principal with Presidio (formerly INX), focused on Data Center Virtualization.I have always been fortunate enough to work with talented people that have pushed me to constantly adapt and grow both my technology skills and my understanding of how technology enables business goals. To build on these experiences, and to follow my lifelong interest in leadership, I received my MBA in 2007 with an emphasis in Leadership Studies.
I consider problem solving to be a hobby, working with business, technology and individuals to find solutions to difficult challenges. I also enjoy speaking on technology issues, speaking at major conferences in the US and Europe.
In 2009, I was honored to be named a vExpert by VMware, in recognition of my contributions to VMware and virtualization. I have continued to be honored with vExpert titles in 2010, 2011 and 2012. Looking at the people I am grouped with in the vexpert program, I consider that a true honor. I also hold several VCP certifications with VMware and my Proven Professional certification with EMC for BRS.
